At the 2024 AIA New York Honors and Awards Luncheon, held at Cipriani Wall Street on April 12, the architecture community celebrated outstanding contributions to the field. We were thrilled to be among the recipients, as MARVEL was honored with the prestigious Medal of Honor. This award, the Chapter’s highest distinction, recognizes our firm for our distinguished body of work and high professional standing.

During the event, other esteemed individuals and organizations were also recognized for their contributions to architecture. Our founder, Jonathan Marvel, received the Medal of Honor award on behalf of our firm. In his acceptance speech, Jonathan expressed our gratitude for the support of the design community in New York. He emphasized that architecture is not just about creativity but also about service. Our mantra at MARVEL, "Design everywhere, for Everyone," guides our work every day. We believe in creating intentionally timeless design solutions that integrate nature and context, and this award reaffirms our commitment to that vision.

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do at MARVEL. We listen to the collective voices of our team, our communities, our cities, and our clients, giving agency to everyone involved in the design and construction process.
