Courtney Behrens

Courtney joined Marvel in 2024 after completing her Master of Landscape Architecture degree. She comes with a background in sociology and urban farming, finding landscape design to be a field where the systems and specificity of people and environment are addressed together. Her current work on Harriman State Emergency Operations Center (EOC) seeks to celebrate the beauty of New York’s capital region while providing for the client’s practical and aesthetic needs; her work on Rocket Playground speaks to Courtney’s conviction of the importance of design in the public realm.
