Priyanka Shah

Architectural Designer

Priyanka joined Marvel in 2022, bringing with her 16 years of rigorous experience in both architecture and urban planning. She has worked across a range of scales from supertall skyscrapers, urban masterplans, university buildings and landmarked adaptive reuse to highly crafted interiors. This work has made her especially versatile in negotiating the complex spatial reality of cities and buildings while delivering a vision that brings beauty, comfort and delight to users and the public at large. At Marvel she has served as Project Architect for the renovation and upgrade of the landmarked 69th Regiment Armory on Lexington Avenue in NYC. Among her previous projects are a 500 student residential college at Princeton University, the conversion of the iconic Domino Sugar Refinery on the Williamsburg waterfront, the Michigan Central Masterplan for an innovation district for the Ford Motor Company in Detroit, a masterplan for Kennedy Airport in New York City and the China Resources Tower in Shenzhen, among others. Priyanka trained as in architect in India, earning a professional undergraduate degree from the University of Mumbai followed by graduate degrees in both Architecture and Urban Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA. She has worked professionally in India and the United States.
