David Acevedo

David Acevedo is an accomplished architectural designer with a Master of Architecture from the Universidad de Puerto Rico. Since 2017, he has contributed to and led projects across a wide range of scales and typologies, including hospitality, healthcare, education, retail, luxury residential, and infrastructure, consistently approaching each with a sensitivity to spatial experience, cultural context, and user well-being.

At Marvel, David plays an integral role in design development and project coordination for a wide range of projects, ranging from Passive House-certified residential buildings and civic plazas to entertainment venues and a landmark adaptive reuse project in Barcelona, Spain, set to become a major technology innovation hub for the city. His work spans all phases of design, from concept through construction administration, and includes leading presentations, internal design, consultant, and contractor coordination.

David approaches architecture as a medium to create meaningful experiences. He believes that great design must be not only functional, but deeply resonant, rooted in its context, responsive to its users, and capable of creating rich, enduring atmospheres that give meaning to daily life.
