Albert Comas Sala
Architectural Designer
Trained as an architect between Barcelona and Zurich, Albert joined Marvel after gaining experience working in local firms and as a freelance on residential projects in Spain. He has been involved across all phases of design and construction, from early concept development to construction documentation and on-site coordination.
At Marvel, Albert has primarily focused on community facility projects in New York City, including the Bronx Museum of the Arts and a Capital Project Scope Development for the NYPD’s Premiere Canine Training Center. His work consistently engages with the social and urban impact of architecture, addressing how buildings shape and serve their communities. He has also contributed to international competitions, such as the design for the International Organization for Migration headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. In addition to civic and cultural work, Albert has contributed to residential projects, including the Gowanus Green Sitewide Concept Masterplan. He brings a collaborative mindset, technical skills, and a commitment to culturally and socially responsive design.
