Diego Varas, WELL AP, LEED Green Associate

Trained as an architect in Chile, Diego joined Marvel after gaining work experience across a number of projects and platforms. Diego has designed at multiple scales for hospitality and retail brands, high end and inclusionary multi-family residential, charter schools, and corporate office projects throughout the US. He is well versed in interior space planning and developing dynamic and functional projects that focus on the human experience. His design approach with finishes and furniture results in sustainable designs, delivering environmentally and user friendly habitable spaces that seek to enhance human health and wellness. At Marvel, Diego’s contributions has been invaluable: his diverse skill set has made him an asset to commercial projects such as Citizens Cellar Wine & Spirits and America Media Offices; mixed-use residential towers such as Plank Road, Bloom on 45th, and “on the boards” buildings such as 100 SCD Harvard University Housing in Boston, Massachusetts, The Riverie, 350-unit residential highrise in the Greenpoint waterfront.
