Sabdiel Díaz Vélez
Architectural Designer
Sabdiel is an experienced architectural designer with six years of experience. He graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a minor in Urban Scapes and Communities. After completing his studies, Sabdiel worked as a Disaster Home Inspector following the event of Hurricane Maria. He has experience in various design disciplines, including graphic design, which has been an asset in developing concepts in digital formats for different design competitions. As a designer, he has acquired skills in BIM, which has allowed him to efficiently communicate and coordinate contract documents. Sabdiel has worked on projects of different scales and typologies, such as commercial, multifamily residential, mixed-use, corporate office, and educational. Most recently, he assisted in the Construction Administration phase for 29 Jay Street, an 11-story office tower located in the landmark historic district of Dumbo in Brooklyn.
