Ana Cubillos
Architect
Ana Cubillos is a registered architect at Marvel with seven years of experience designing both new construction and adaptive reuse projects at many scales.
She is driven by the belief that design can have a profound effect on the lives within and around buildings. Her design process demonstrates curiosity at all scales and a willingness to listen and develop ideas based on a genuine understanding of client needs.
Her responsibilities have involved all phases of design—from concept to construction administration. Most recently, Ana has been dedicated to working with the Masters School on several projects including the ground up Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center for the school’s STEM program and the renovation of their Music and Performing Arts school.
Her experience in adaptive reuse includes the restoration of the Orchard Beach Pavilion, a 140,000 sf city landmark built in the 1930’s for the NYC Parks Department under Robert Moses, and the Vineyard Theater Renovation. Ana has also been involved in numerous master planning efforts for notable cultural organizations including Snug Harbor Cultural Center, Saratoga Performing Arts Center, and the Jacob Burns Film Center. Most recently, she was involved in the Financial District Seaport Master Plan.
