Clara Goitia, RA
Architect
Clara joined Marvel in mid-2021 with over a decade of experience designing for residential and commercial clients. At Marvel, Clara spearheaded and successfully completed the Construction Administration phase of 29 Jay Street, an 11-story commercial office tower located in the landmark historic district of Dumbo, Brooklyn. She also led the effort to develop a Capital Project Scope Development (CPSD) report for the Riverdale Neighborhood House, guiding early planning and budgeting efforts. Currently, she is leading a new affordable housing development project in Bushwick, Brooklyn, overseeing all aspects from early design through construction. In addition to her project work, Clara co-leads Marvel’s summer internship program, helping to mentor and guide the next generation of designers.
Additional recent work includes the Construction Administration for the renovation of a historic bank in Brooklyn Heights and the exterior cladding upgrade for the Whitney Museum. Previously, Clara helped lead the Construction Administration phase of the Comcast Technology Center by Foster + Partners in Philadelphia. At 1,121 feet, it is the city’s tallest building and includes a 12-story Four Seasons hotel. Her earlier work includes coordination of Design Development and Construction Documentation phases for high-rise residential towers such as 180 East 88th Street, a luxury condominium by DDG in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, with a focus on residential planning and code compliance.
