Carolina Cohen Freue, AIA, LEED AP BD+C

Carolina is a licensed architect with extensive experience designing for educational and cultural institutions. Her work is driven by a commitment to creating inspiring, accessible cultural spaces that serve diverse communities. She brings together design creativity, technical rigor, and a thoughtful understanding of project-specific constraints to deliver architecture that is both visionary and grounded. Carolina currently serves as the Project Architect for the Bronx Museum of the Arts expansion, a transformative initiative that includes renovating the existing facility and introducing a new entry lobby that strengthens the museum’s connection to the surrounding neighborhood. Before joining Marvel, Carolina spent six years at Steven Holl Architects, where she played a leading role in the design and delivery of Franklin & Marshall College’s Winter Visual Arts Center, a major fine arts facility that has since been completed. Her contributions across these projects reflect her dedication to design excellence and her ability to guide complex cultural work from concept through realization.
