Main campus objectives include connecting the Saratoga Performing Arts Center to the larger Saratoga Spa State Park campus, as well as creating a centralized mall community space.
The planning study for program activation of the two historic buildings in Saratoga Spa State Park included engagement with other performance arts venues in Saratoga Springs.
The program recommendations for the historic Roosevelt II building on campus presented an opportunity to incorporate a flexible performance space and a culinary teaching kitchen. To support this indoor program, the exterior courtyard is designed to be an Arts Shed.

The effort concluded with a robust community engagement exercise to build consensus among the various groups of stakeholders, users and visitors, iterative concept designs, and a recommendation design which with an accompanying cost estimate. The final recommendation included a flexible community space, a culinary institute, a black box theater, and renovations to the theater with additional support spaces.
