About Us:

MARVEL is an award-winning, 150-person multi-disciplinary firm practicing Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Urban Design, with offices in New York City, Richmond Virginia and San Juan Puerto Rico. We are currently seeking an Architect, Senior Designer or Strong Intermediate Designer with experience in construction administration.  An immediate, full-time position is available for an architectural construction administrator at a $120+M project for a National Historic Landmark building in midtown Manhattan.

Successful candidates will apply the experience gained in construction administration toward long-term contributions to Marvel’s design practice.

Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 5 to 10+ years of architectural experience including construction administration of mid- and large-scale projects. Applicants will have managed project teams and consultants in design and construction phases.  Experience should also include code; design presentation; contract documentation; written specifications; scheduling and organization; client interface; and consultant coordination. Applicants must have demonstrated knowledge of construction practices and the diversity of skillsets required to balance building owner, tenant and construction contractor requests, while maintaining project integrity for the client.  Proficiency in Revit is required.

This position requires a motivated individual with a positive attitude, strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

 

Salary range: $95,000 – $110,000
