Dennis Vermeulen, AIA, LEED BD+C

Dennis Vermeulen’s architectural training and practice was preceded by over a decade of experience as a visual artist and Head of Installation at the Guggenheim Museum. The material, social, and spatial exploration of art, as well as the technical demands of large-scale, multi-media exhibitions inform his approach to design and knowledge of fabrication and construction. Over the past ten years Dennis has applied this unique background to designing and managing residential, commercial, and institutional architecture projects in New York and abroad.

Dennis currently manages Pacific Park B15 and 1 Java, two Brooklyn-based residential projects. Previous projects include leadership of the design and construction of Pierhouse and 1 Hotel in Brooklyn Bridge Park. In addition to ongoing works, he applies his knowledge to various studies and competitions for Marvel.

Dennis received his BFA from Boston University and Master of Architecture from the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture.
