Debbie has led a wide range of complex projects and scales ranging from small renovations to ground up towers costing more than 300MM dollars. She is proficient in various typologies including hospitality, market rate+affordable housing, academic, and theater and is strong in vendor and stakeholder management, team leadership, budget control, and technical proficiency. Debbie led the construction administration on a 26 story, 489 key hotel project in Manhattan which she worked on since design. She recently completed a new 42,000 SF charter school project in East New York, and the design and renovation of Playwrights Theater’s 12,000 SF downtown space in Manhattan. Prior to her time at Marvel, she designed award winning renovations for Schiff House Day Care Center at CCNY and the NYPL Macomb’s Bridge Branch Library in Harlem. Debbie has worked as adjunct faculty at Parsons School of Design and taught studio classes at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She is interested in investigating how design can benefit society, be utilitarian while still imparting beauty, and how it is valued across cultures.
