Haikun Xu

Haikun Xu is an experienced landscape architectural designer specializing in public spaces, waterfront development, green infrastructure, and urban resilience. Before joining Marvel, she was
a key designer and project manager at Stantec in New York, leading award-winning projects such as the Albany Skyway, Lower Concourse Park, and Grant Park Construction. Her work integrates environmental sustainability and ecological sensitivity, ensuring that each project enhances both community and ecosystem while addressing sitespecific challenges. Haikun also leads research on digital design and data analysis in landscape architecture, advancing a technologydriven approach in the industry. As an Urban Design Forum Lifelong Fellow, she has contributed to initiatives on age-friendly urban environments and housing equity. She holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Manitoba. Haikun is dedicated to creating meaningful, resilient landscapes that foster ecological and social well-being.
