Lillianys Medina

Architectural Designer

Lillianys Medina Escobar is a Puerto Rican designer with experience in architectural design, urban planning, and project management. Her passion for art and design led her to University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus, where she completed a master’s degree in architecture and a bachelor’s degree in environmental design; while attaining minors in visual arts, literature, and gender studies. She is interested in sustainable practices that connect ecosystems and livelihoods in the context of the increasing climate challenges. Her experience in the public corporation Corporación del Proyecto Enlace del Cano Martin Peña helped her to forge a strong sense of human and environmental responsibility, managing intricate work plans that engaged with distinct stakeholders in single and multi-family housing projects. Seeking to grow as a designer, she joined Marvel in 2021 where she has worked from concept design through construction administration. Recent projects include mixed-use residential development, and institutional projects, such as 126 Lafayette, Gowanus Green Building B, and the Brownsville Youth Empowerment Center and Community Hub.
