Vernette Vélez García
Architectural Designer
Vernette Velez is an architectural designer with 5 years of experience designing both new construction and reconstruction of existing buildings. After graduating from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico on 2018, she joined Marvel as part of the San Juan branch. Since then, Vernette have had the opportunity to work with a variety of project types at different scales, including multifamily residentials, corporate offices, schools, among others. Her exposure has allowed her to expand her knowledge and skills in coordination, communication and leadership. As a designer, her focus is to deliver architecture that understands the client and user’s needs, while keeping in mind that the space’s accessibility, functionality and the experience of it is key for an efficient design. She is also passionate on how through architecture designers can solve problems, provoke emotions and behaviors at all scales, in society and in individuals. Vernette also stands out for her BIM skills, allowing her to work efficiently and lead her team into delivering coordinated contract documents. She is part of the Marvel Technological Team, which mission is to empower the creation of enhanced design and optimize workflows utilizing technology and visualization.
