Zack joined Jonathan Marvel in 2009, working on many project types, with a strong focus on performing arts. As a licensed architect in New York, he’s skilled in design and project management. Zack’s work spans New York City, NY State, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Maine.
Zack’s early projects with Jonathan Marvel included diverse tasks for the SandRidge Energy Corporate Headquarters in Oklahoma City, ranging from urban campus design to historic renovation. He also led the design and management of the TheatreSquared Project in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and acted as project architect for the transformation of a Tobacco Warehouse into a modern performance venue for St. Ann’s Warehouse in Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Zack’s expertise also covers coworking, retail, residential, and hospitality design. He prioritizes community impact, ensuring a project’s success extends beyond their physical footprint. He adeptly navigates complex planning, stakeholder management, and regulatory processes while upholding design excellence and client satisfaction. Recently, Zack has led notable mixed-use projects including Rainbow Centre Mall in Niagara Falls, NY, a luxury mixed-use hotel on Portland Maine’s historic waterfront, and a community arts center in Lake Placid, NY.
