The Bronx Museum South Wing expansion is seeking to reposition the institution into a new era that looks into welcoming the community to the space and to project the values of the institution towards a global audience. The intervention re-imagines the entrance, connects the circulation throughout all the galleries and creates a unified experience that invites all users to be immersed into the spaces and the art.

A new gallery space at the intersection of Grand Concourse and 165th Street and a future cafe, serves as an interface toward making the museum accessible to all and remove the spatial and institutional barriers that permeates in traditional museum design.
