Erica Barker, LEED AP BD+C

Currently, Erica Barker is completing the drawing set for MGM Casino & Theater in Yonkers, NY. Her most recently completed project was the Brownsville Youth Empowerment Center and Community Hub, which is a recreation center in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Over the years she has accrued a wide variety of professional experience including design for multifamily residential projects, libraries, like Brooklyn Public Library in Brooklyn Heights, schools, urban planning initiatives, proposals for mixed-use affordable housing projects, including a new, full-block 254-unit rental building in the Prospect Lefferts Gardens neighborhood of Brooklyn. Her skill-set ranges from early-phase conceptual design to construction administration process, which she completed on 35 Commercial Street. She also designed Bedford Union Armory, which is an existing decommissioned 1908 cavalry armory redesigned for recreation space, a community facility and office space.
