
Jason Jimenez, AIA
Director
Jason joined Marvel in 2015. He is a licensed architect in the State of New York with over 25 years of experience and a background in residential, mixed-use, cultural, and high-rise design, construction, and project management. He has had the opportunity to engage the built environment at multiple scales; from iconic skyline defining high-rises and national monuments to private residences. He has a commitment to promoting sustainable design strategies and is an active leader in defining Marvel’s sustainability strategies.
As a project manager he has balanced complex project planning, multiple stakeholder management, and public review processes at the city, state, and national levels while maintaining design excellence, inclusivity, and efficiency. In New York Jason led the team in the design of The Riverie in Greenpoint, Brooklyn; New York State’s largest geothermal residential development as well as the award-winning 1 Clinton Condominium in Brooklyn Heights. He has worked on many mixed-use high-rise projects and understands balancing development goals with the need to create responsible, sustainable, and livable urban environments.
Jason’s portfolio at Marvel features leadership roles in the design and construction of many high-profile mixed-use projects including Plank Road at Pacific Park, Rockaway Village, and SUNY Downstate Medical Library Renovation. He holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The University of Michigan.
