Architect Thomas Marvel moves to Puerto Rico to found Marvel & Marchand Architects.
Rogers Marvel Architects is founded in New York City by principals Rob Rogers and Jonathan Marvel.
Twenty years after the founding of Rogers Marvel Architects, Marvel and Rogers decided to form two independent practices, known as Marvel Architects and Rogers Partners.

A glimpse of the reconstructed Orchard Beach Pavilion✨
Originally built in 1936, the Orchard Beach Pavilion is known for its striking columns, limestone cladding, bright blue tiles and terrazzo flooring— now fully restored & accessible to all in this newly renovated pavilion.
Jonathan Marvel was there to receive the honor, which was presented by NYC DOT Commissioner Mike Flynn.

Brownsville Multi-Service Center will be a versatile community center with a unique facade that changes as the day goes by. Inspired by the intricate brick of nearby buildings of this East New York neighborhood, its signature bright orange color exudes optimism to passersby.
