Starhill Residences are located at 1600 Macombs Road in the Bronx, New York on the former site of the Starhill Health Center. Built in two phases, the project contains 570 affordable housing units, a shared amenity bar including a fitness room, community room, children’s playroom, and a supportive service suite providing on site services to the 250 supportive units within the two buildings. The proposed new construction pulls in the streetwall of Macombs Rd., creating a sheltered greenspace for public access. With multiple points of access along Macombs Rd., Featherbed Lane and Grand Ave. A park space of roughly 11,500SF will be provided with access for both the community and the building tenants.
